Description
The Ultimate High Spec Muffler Designed For 1000ps.
HKS has developed one of our most powerful muffler. It's for horse power of 1000. It's for R35 GT-R with HKS GT1000 RACING SPEC. We purely pursuit the exhaust efficiency for super low exhaust resistance pressure. The RACING MUFFLER pipe diameter is 101.6 and didn't have to narrow down. It connects to the main pipe by changing from the 2nd catalyzer so that we didn't have to limit the diameter of the pipe because of the stock flange part.

Diameter of center pipe is the portion that has the largest diameter. (Excluding silencer and tip.) It is the condition with stock suspension.
*4: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
The data is basically the condition with stock suspension. However, please understand that some items have data with low down spring or ride height adjustable suspension kit.

Ultimate High Performance 1000PS+
This exhaust system was designed to reduce the exhaust restrictions to an extremely low level. The target was a racing specifications vehicle with over 1000ps engine output.The maximum pipe diameter is 101.6mm. The exclusive design pipe after the stock secondary catalyzer eliminates the restriction created by the stock flange and increases the engine output to a higher level. Sound level and tone are tuned to deliver comfortable racing exhaust note.

HKS is perhaps the most known aftermarket brand in the world.
In October 1973, two talented and spirited young engineers had a vision; to design and build high performance engines and components that major OE manufacturers could not or would not produce.
Led by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former engineer for Yamaha Motor Company, and his partner Mr.Kitagawa, the two secured a capital infusion from Sigma Automotive Co., Ltd. (hence the name “HKS ”), and began tuning gasoline powered engines in a dairy-farming shed at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan.
A year later, Mr. Hasegawa designed and built the first aftermarket turbocharger for passenger cars and has never looked back.
HKS pioneered the Japanese aftermarket performance industry by delivering a host of exciting new products, including the first commercially available electronic turbo timer and boost controller.
